May 26 (Bloomberg) — Ronald Shelp, former executive in charge of government relations and international affairs at American International Group Inc., talks with Bloomberg Mark Crumpton about the outlook for AIG and the performance of Chief Executive Officer Robert Benmosche.
Benmosche told a congressional panel the firm is on a clear path to repaying taxpayers, while the committees chairman said the bailed-out insurer may need to weigh putting units in bankruptcy.
